I'm Golbarg Jokar, born in the summer of '93, and I'm a visual artist. I've been in love with painting and creating since I was a kid, always using my hands to bring my ideas to life. Honestly, expressing my emotions verbally has never been easy for me, so art has become my perfect tool for conveying those feelings.

My main focus is on the art history of Iran and the concerns of Iranian women. I started studying and working in art from the age of 15 and later went to university for it. Right now, I'm living as an immigrant in New York City, and I'm really passionate about connecting with other artists here and exploring new creative collaborations.
